We are currently about 3/4 of the way moved into the house.

Thanks to my parents coming up on Sunday, we were able to make 2 trips with 3 vehicles. All that is really left is the furniture, our clothes, and what's left of the kitchen. On Friday, I'm going to try to paint with my mom. Mike is going to fill some nail holes tomorrow and get things ready. On Mondy night I washed clothes down there and started unpacking the kitchen. The challenge is now finding where to put everything. You never realize how much crap you own until you start to move!

It does feel like our home now and we are looking forward to being there permanently.

On Saturday my friend Jill & I drove to Rochester to go to the wedding shower of our college friend Erika. Some newer shower games that were better then the traditional ones. Great food, and she was happy that we had come. I guess that's what it really is all about. Still haven't met her husband to be yet!

The weather has been "delightful" the last few days with temps reaching 60's-70's. It's supposed to snow again soon, but I guess we can be happy that spring is really coming. The tulips are poking through and that's always a good example. However, the biggest sign that spring is coming is BASEBALL started! The Twins have new turf and it makes the field look really strange. It's probably going to take them some getting used to playing on it with the ball coming off the grass a bit slower now. They didn't get much chance to practice, because it just was completed last Thursday. Talk about cutting it close!

Work is fine. Things have quieted down some what. People are starting to get to know their way around and finding supplies easier. Still occasional freak outs, but we're slowly getting people to be self-sufficient. It's not the most exciting job, but it is a job I can do and do well.

TJ (the dog) came to visit with Mom & Barry on Sunday. He made himself at home on our new bed and layed down for a nap! When we got to the new place he ran around and explored while smelling everything. Dog approved! We also met our neighbors across the street who have a Brittany that looks a lot like Taffy. Of course I headed right over and said, "Can I pet your dog?" Similar behavior like Taffy when she was young-go crazy when someone new comes over. Very soft dog and made me miss Taffy as always. It makes wanting to get a dog even more important.

Easter-don't think we'll be making it down, maybe to Rochester for Sunday, but that is all. Depends on how things go in the moving area. We're trying to get settled by the 19th, so there is much to do.
