I just realized that it has been WAY too long since I last posted. My apologies.

Brief update and I promise to post more later...

Today is my 29th birthday. Mellow day. Celebrated with the family on Saturday night at my folks. 20 people showed up. I didn't know they all liked us that much! Just kidding. Nice time. Nice gifts. (Including my new Elvis clock that is shaped like a 45 record. At each hour it alternates playing Hound Dog and Don't Be Cruel. It is driving Mike nuts. I love it.) I also received Season 2 of Little House on the Prairie. My husband knows what I like!

Tonight, we went to look at a few townhomes as the search of our own place begins. Have a good prospect.

We then went to the Olive Garden. EXCELLENT food. This is one of my top faves.

I received a stirring rendition of Happy Birthday on my answering machine from Pat, Alissa and Paige with memorable 'cha cha cha's' inserted as well.

My new job is going VERY well. I like the people, what I'm doing, and feel very comfortable in the setting. It is somewhat akin to slipping on a pair of old sneakers. Comfy. And I know how to use them. These people also gave me a card, a lovely cake, and sang to me today. They've known me all of 2 weeks tomorrow!
