I'm still sick...
That's the long and short of it. Not much to post. My life has been nothing but staring at the ceiling, trying to sleep, or watching tv. I wish I could read, but I just can't focus!
I'm back at work today, trying to do something. I was here Monday and gone yesterday. No energy, coughing insanely. I sound like Kermit the Frog. Everyone keeps saying stuff like, "Wow, you sound terrible." "Why are you here?" "Don't breathe on me." "What's wrong with you?" I feel like the plague.
Yesterday I watched part of Days of Our Lives for the first time in a many months. It was retarded beyond my wildest dreams. I watched A Baby Story (which is always interesting when your friends are having kids all over the place), then I fell asleep and dreamed some really strange things. Then I woke and watched Little House (the one where Mary goes blind) and then Coal Miners Daughter was on, which is always a good watch. Watched some Seinfeld (the one where this girl thinks George and Jerry are gay, and the one where Kramer finds the Merv Griffin set), Father of the Pride (kind of cute), Scrubs, and then I actually watched an episode of Law and Order. Which Law and Order, I don't know. It's the one with Mariska Hagartay (is that the SVU?). It was a good episode, considering I'm not a fan of these types of shows. But, when I do watch one, I get sucked in.
Then, I let Madison outside when I was talking to my mom on the phone. She likes to lay out there, so I just let her be. When I got out there about 15 minutes later to check on her, she had dug up the entire tree of wood chips, the chicken wire, everything. THEN, she comes running in and tracks mud on the carpet. At that, Mike grabbed her and up to the kennel she went. He went outside to pick up the mess, I stayed in and cleaned up the carpet. When I let her out a short while later, she knew she was in deep shit. The joys of puppyhood.
Mike's busy with school and lots of homework. He's doing good, but definitely has gone into things full swing now. :)

"You're not dying...you just can't think of anything better to do."
That's a direct quote from Ferris Bueller and describes how I'm currently feeling. I haven't been this sick in a looooong time. Yikes.
Short post-limited energy.
I've watched 13 going on 30 and Mona Lisa Smiles, as well as a dozen episodes of Roseanne and Full House at 4am on Nick at Nite this weekend. I coughed so bad that I think I gave myself a hernia. Mike has slept downstairs and the dog has slept with me.
Anyway, I hope the rest of you have been able to enjoy this beautiful weekend of high temperatures and blue skies. It looks awesome! Get out there and do something because it won't be long before it's gone.
