Blah

That's how I feel today.

Vacation was short, never long enough. We went canoeing on the rising Upper Iowa river, which was a blast. (Even though I got burned!) We hung out with family, I went to my friend Erika's wedding, a parade at my Dad's, trip to Clear Lake, Iowa to see where Buddy Holly was killed, went to see Anchorman, did a lot of shopping (MOA included), went to see a folk group play with my Dad, and read my books. It wasn't overly relaxing, but it was nice to be home.

Madison was busy lapping up all the attention she received from all of the extra people around the house. Alissa and Paige really liked her. She learned some new things from Grandpa Barry, which is good. She terrorized TJ each morning by trying to get him to play. Poor TJ, he wanted to play, but it's just too hard for him.

Things are not looking good for my buddy...he has had five seizures in the past 3 days. I found a few tumors on his chest as well. We knew it was coming, but it doesn't make it any easier. Madison will miss him too.

Back to work. There were things to catch up on, but nothing major. I'm just busy today and Friday because my co-worker is out and I'm covering her job too. Can't wait for the weekend.

Welcome to the post college working world, Molly!

Back in the saddle again

I'm back from vacation, back at work. I will post more later on the joys of being off for 10 days. I can tell you a couple things:

1)Madison and TJ woke me up at 5am each day.
2)We saw Anchorman and I thought it was really funny. Pat, Lyn and Mike do not concur.

"CANNON BALL!" I love Will Farrell.
